Rifling expertise

Experience a breakthrough with our Electrochemical Rifling, where just 23 seconds are sufficient to perform a handgun barrel rifling operation. This innovative process ensures precision and speed without delving into technical complexities.

We can produce polygonal and various groove geometries, allowing customization in twist, groove diameter, and land width for your firearms.

Ensure the highest level of precision for improved firearm performance and leave nothing to chance using Static or Dynamic Electrochemical rifling for handgun or long gun barrels.

Firearms components deburring solutions

A single micro burr can compromise functionality.

Our Electrochemical Machining (ECM) capabilities exceed traditional methods, delivering target deburring and radiusing. With gun breeches, this process leaves no burr, delivering state-of-the-art clean components.

Our Thermal Deburring (TEM) solutions can deburr components like gun rams, bolts, carriers, and trigger mechanisms. TEM not only ensures perfect deburring but also helps prevent jamming, enhancing the overall performance of your firearms.

Cherry on the cake. Extrude Hone brings contract work rifling capabilities to Irwin, PA.

That’s our gift to firearms lovers at the Shot Show 2025.

We have traditionally offered rifling in Sterling Heights in the USA since the late 80s, at that time as CATION Rifling. We will now provide rifling from Extrude Hone’s headquarters in Irwin, PA.

A brand new state-of-the-art ECO+ Rifling system has arrived in Irwin. We can receive part blanks, rifle them & return them to customers. We offer short gun or long barrel rifling  (up to 800mm) at high productivity, with a feed rate between 50 and 300 mm/min.

We offer the highest flexibility, independently from material hardness, to achieve Standard Rifling, Progressive, and Progressive Depth Rifling. Multiple applications like land/groove and Polygonal Rifling are at your fingertips.
