About Extrude Hone’s TEM machines
TEM technology
The Extrude Hone™ Thermal Deburring process provides high-quality results for machined components that require the removal of imperfections created by mechanical methods.
This makes TEM ideal for the following post-machining applications:
- Deburring: Removal of material attached to a component due to boring, drilling, or cutting operations.
- Deflashing: Removal of zinc, zamac, or aluminum die-cast mold flashings.
- Decontamination: Removal of machining particles trapped in hidden areas.
TEM machines
T-Series Thermal Deburring Machines are the most recent thermal deburring machines by Extrude Hone
The T-Series includes the T250, T350, and T450 thermal deburring machines.
They provide a fast and reliable solution for removing all internal and external burrs simultaneously in a single operation.
They are designed to accommodate medium- to large-production volumes, as well as handle a variety of difficult to deburr workpieces.
Available in multiple chamber sizes with a maximum operating pressure of 24 bar and cycle time of 30 to 60 seconds, depending on the model.
