“Extrude Hone GmbH facility opened in February 2013 in Holzgünz, but the history of Extrude Hone in Germany started in 2000 with the move of the Electrochemical Machining (ECM) activities, which started in the 70’s and the one acquired from the Bosch Surftran Division, from the US to Buxheim in Germany.
In 2005, Extrude Hone acquired DIVA-Tec, followed by the VMB acquisition. In 2007, Extrude Hone merged the multiple German entities into Extrude Hone GmbH.
It’s the Extrude Hone Electrochemical Machining (ECM) Center of Excellence. We have engineering, machine manufacturing, tooling, spare manufacturing, and contract shop service capabilities.
It’s also the European service hub for our three technologies (TEM, ECM, and AFM).
The Contract Shop service offers Electrochemical Machining (ECM) and abrasive Flow Machining (AFM).”
